Refund policy

Eligibility

You may request a refund if you cancel a Studio Seat more than 14 full days before the cohort start date stated on your confirmation email. Canvas Pass is eligible for a refund within 7 days of first access, provided you have not downloaded more than the week-one materials. Atelier Desk deposits are eligible until we have held the first private session.

Timeframe

Send the request to info@dataeventbase.digital from the same address used on the invoice. We timestamp eligibility from the sending time in Asia/Bangkok. Late requests are considered only under the exceptions below.

Full or partial refunds

A Studio Seat cancelled more than 14 days before start is refunded in full, minus any bank transfer fees we cannot recover. Cancellations between 14 days and 48 hours before start receive 50% of the seat fee. After the first live session begins, the seat is no longer refundable as a live place; we may, at our discretion, convert remaining weeks to Canvas Pass instead of cash.

Canvas Pass refunds inside the 7-day window are full if week-two files were not downloaded. After that window, Canvas Pass is non-refundable.

Atelier Desk: if the first private session has not occurred, we refund fees paid minus any non-recoverable travel we booked at your written request. After session one, unused weeks can be rescheduled within six months or refunded at 40% of the unused portion.

Non-refundable items

Travel, hotels, and meals are never refunded by Dataeventbase. Guest-critic add-ons that have already occurred are non-refundable. Printed workbooks, if requested, are non-refundable once dispatched. Removal for breach of student conduct is non-refundable.

Refund process

Email the invoice number, programme name, and reason. We confirm eligibility in writing within five working days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payer only.

Processing time and method

Bank transfers inside Thailand are typically completed within 10 working days after approval. International transfers may take up to 20 working days depending on your bank. We refund by the same method used to pay where possible. We do not refund in cash at the Din Daeng studio.

Cancellation by Dataeventbase

If we cancel a cohort, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date at no extra fee. If an instructor is replaced, that alone is not grounds for a refund; you may still cancel under the timelines above.

Exceptions

We consider documented medical emergencies, visa refusals for travel into Thailand, and company-wide travel bans on a case-by-case basis, even after the standard window. We may ask for evidence. Statutory rights you have under Thai consumer law are not limited by this page.
